An Update Regarding The Team:
Due to creative differences, Harry Hursham has decided to part ways with East Island Productions and will no longer be involved in Magenta House or any future Productions here at East Island. Of the parting Harry had this to say: "I've become disillusioned with my own script and fallen out of love with it, and I believe that all of the other stories, together, with passion behind them is better than having one of them without that passion, without that 100% energy" We wish Harry the best of luck in all his future endeavours and can't wait to see what he does next!
Magenta House Chapter Titles
Bellow are the chapter titles for our film, Magenta House. We have four amazing segments written by four amazing people! Please not this is not the order the chapters will appear in the film. We will confirm that at a later date
Magenta House Casting Finalization
On June 10th, we finalised our cast in a session conducted at The Forum in Southend.
Magenta House Cast & Crew Meet Up
On June 27th, The cast and crew of our film Magenta House gathered for the first time!
Magenta House Day 1 June 25th
On June 25th, We had our first offical day filming for our film Magenta House! We started off with a little chemistry test between actors Keira Baitrum and Alex Tonkiss
We followed this with the construction of the set for the first scenes we filmed
We then shot the first scenes, shadow play sequences directed by Z.G. Taylor
Magenta House Day 2 July 17th
On July 17th, Cameras rolled on our second day of filming for Magenta House! We had a successful first day of filming for Freddie's Chapter: Razor Face! Massive thanks to our amazing cast and crew!
Magenta House Day 3 July 21st
On July 21st, We had another great shoot led by Freddie Skerritt for his segment Razor Face!
Magenta House Day 4 July 23rd
Day 4 took us to a car park to shoot sequences for Jake's Segment The Faceless Sentry
Magenta House Day 5 July 29th
Day 5 was the first of three back to back shoots and took us back to the beach before moving to a alleyway in Leigh
Magenta House Day 6 July 30th
Day 6 was the second of three back to back shoots. This was the second day we shot at Freddie's house.
Magenta House Day 7 July 31st
Day 6 was the last of the back to back shoots which landed us at the Grays Campus of South Essex College. For this shoot, we split the crew in two. One half led by Bill shooting the interiors of the escape and the other half led by Zach shooting the parts of the opening & ending.
